Wilcraft Rescue
Wilcraft is a lightweight amphibious vehicle, in fact it is the lightest amphibious vehicle on the market.
Its lightweight, light footprint gives it many advantages and abilities over conventional equipment.
The ground pressure exerted by the Wilcraft is far less than that of a person on foot, so you can
imagine the possibilities. Furthermore the Wilcraft has the unique ability to retract its wheels,
thus laying the flat bottom hull on the surface, spreading out the load even more, to a ground
pressure of a mere .10 lbs per square inch. This combination of features and design gives the responder
the ability to efficiently and effectively tackle a variety of conditions.
For example, marginal ice, sliding
up and over snow banks and drifts, pressure ridges, plow ridges, climbing or descending steep hills or
banks, traversing soft ground, marshes, swamps, grassy areas, or river beds. The ability to climb
onto an ice shelf means you have a rig capable of late-ice rescues.
First Response Applications
In an ice rescue situation, the Wilcraft is a solid addition to the arsenal, offering some great advantages.
It deploys in seconds from a pick-up bed or small trailer.
The Wilcraft enables you to traverse ice that doesn't support a person on foot at speeds of up to 20mph, and offers pin point
control as you approach the victim. The hull drops to the ice and rescues are made from within
the hull. From station to victim the Wilcraft will get there faster, with less effort and greater safety.
When time is of the essence single handed rescues are possible and easily do-able. This has been proven
by a Wilcraft ice fishing owner.

Cost Advantages
The Wilcraft is priced comparable to many of the manual apparatuses, so it is affordable for
stations of all size and budget. The Wilcraft is simple to operate so a number of pilots can be
certified with minimal cost and training. Service, repair and operational costs are virtually
nonexistent when compared to some of the large equipment. The vast number of applications
makes it a year round tool further enhancing its value.
Purchase, training cost, and versatility; dollar for dollar, Wilcraft has the most to offer.
